Hello dear reader, I changed my email format and I am loving it. I hope you did too. As I am writing to you, I am listening to my cousin brother beatboxing. He had come to my place for the weekend and he has been keeping me amused. He’s 21 years old and sharing with me all his different ideas about what he wants to do in future. At 21, he’s energetic, but also anxious like any 21-year-old. I’ve told him to keep a note of all his ideas when they arise, for the Universe is kind and bountiful. We say there aren’t enough opportunities and we don’t know what we should do in life, but I truly believe that there is no shortage of what we actually can do in life. The Universe gives us opportunities in the form of random ideas that come into our heads and hearts, and if we are mindful enough to take them as sacred and go after them, our lives can change. When I ask my friends about what ideas come to their heads, sometimes out of nowhere, sometimes in the middle of the night, they share with me that they have SO many ideas. My brother told me the same, some that he feels like working on and starting right then and there, but then they’re crazy ideas. And I tell him that ideas are just that. They’re crazy. I don’t believe that the Universe doesn’t plant ideas and inspiration inside each one of us. It gives and gives and gives and gives, but we neglect and neglect and neglect because we think it’s not practical or logical. We let reality get the better of us. But I say forget logic in the pursuit of your heart’s desires. Ideas are instructions and guidance from the Universe. You wouldn’t have that idea in the first place if you didn’t have it in you to go after it. The idea did not come from you, but from the Universe/God or name it anything. I like to think of ideas as a proposal from the Universe. Some I can reject, some I can ponder, but some that I must absolutely work upon and go after. Ideas are proposals that want to be manifested. They can’t manifest on their own. So if you have an idea (I am sure you have one) that gets you excited or makes you think that it has a probability to be true, go for it. Above all, keep a note of all your ideas and collect them somewhere. Then at least research about it and see what can be done. If some idea keeps on calling out to you, it is because it wants YOU to be its rightful manager and producer. But if you might think, “But I don’t have this……” “But I need this first…..” “But I don’t have any resources…” Remember that the only biggest resource you need is a daring heart. The size of our life will exactly be the size of how much we dare in life. Dare to dream. Dare to have a daring heart and make your ideas come to life. This is where I keep mine and if there is one takeaway for you from today's newsletter, it is that I want you to keep a small notebook or even a folder in your phone to collect your ideas and be mindful of them when they come. Take them as potential proposals from the Universe to change your life. I can guarantee that they will if we only show enough courage, discipline and a little bit of impracticality and irrationality. xx Journal Prompt of the WeekWhat are some ideas you currently have that you think as impractical and not logical, but deep inside you wish you could do? Hello dear reader, I hope September has been good for you so far. Today I want to share about a book I recently read- The 80/20 Principle. It's amazing how a simple concept like this can really help us change and simplify our lives. I believe everybody should know about this principle and apply it in their lives to live more simply and intentionally. If you’re feeling overwhelmed with work and your life is a mess, you don’t know how to manage your time, or you don’t know where to put your...
Hello Dear reader, Happy Monday! You are receiving this email as a part of my Weekly Mindful Monday Newsletter series. As the end of the year is approaching, I want us to end the year in a truly restful and relaxed manner. Living in the city and in this increasingly connected and fast paced world, we have forgotten the art of true rest. I say true rest because the rest that we normally do isn’t truly rest. It’s a distraction or simply just half-rest. And I know it’s funny how we have to learn...
Hello dear reader, Happy Monday! You are receiving this email as a part of my 'Mindful Monday Newsletter' Today I want to share about Talent Vs. Hardwork Vs. Audacity. This has been on my mind for quite some time and I wanted to share my thoughts about it. When it comes to talent, we think that this world is divided into two- talented and non-talented people. You are either talented or you’re not. And if you’re not, there’s nothing much you can do about it. So we go on with our lives. We grow...
